Mount Dennis Station -Toronto’s new inter-modal transit hub at Weston Road and Eglinton Avenue West marks an important step in regional transit connectivity. Opened in November 2025, the station brings together GO Transit’s Kitchener Line, UP Express, and the TTC bus network, including a 15-bay bus terminal and connections to the future Line 5 Eglinton. The hub is designed to make transfers faster and smoother, helping commuters move between services with less hassle. Other portions of the work occurred during weekend shutdowns for testing, requiring full Metrolinx track training due to the high-speed movements of oncoming trains.
